Probably won't be close.  Just play well and don't get anybody hurt.  A loss unless it is a bad one won't hurt our net much if at all.  The next four games after this game are all winnable.  A four seed in the conf. tournament with a win would look pretty good.  A 7 seed in the Big Dance would be a possibility.  Especially with a second win over Mich. St.

I'm concerned about not having White for this game. Jacy Sheldon is a quick, explosive guard who leads the Big 10 in steals. I read that she was on "restricted minutes" during the Iowa game, so I'm assuming it will be the same tomorrow. Ohio State forced 18 first half turnovers against UConn with their press. We definitely need our best ball handlers for this one.

Me to.......  At least we know the press is coming, so we can game plan for it

On the road at OSU makes it tough even without the big win over Iowa euphoria.

Yes, this makes sense HUD. These last 5 games are huge....simply huge. The best position we've been in years, going into the tournament's

This game is really kind of a “playing with house money” situation.  Especially with the Iowa win.  We got our big win and they shouldn’t feel much pressure. We’re now solidly inside the bubble.

Hopefully that means they come out and just play loose.  No pressure situations sometimes allow a team to just out and play, not think about things, and just have some fun.

I think that’s why you see a lot of upsets in early March conference games and early rounds of conference tournaments.  Most of the time, teams playing on Day 1 and Day 2 have no pressure.

Lets see.  Short turnaround, on the road, hangover from one of the greatest win in team history, playing one of the hottest teams in the country who will press us from the opening tip.  If we keep it below 20 point loss I will be happy.  What do the rest of you think?

Yes, this is a valid point.  I was thinking this too.  Circumstances make this game really tough!  But I think the women will show up with the right mindset at least.  GBR!!

  • (with Iowa's loss) the Buckeyes climbed from No. 5 to No. 2 in both national polls.
  • Ohio State is in the driver’s seat for the Big Ten Conference title. The Buckeyes' 12-1 Big Ten record includes home wins over current No. 4 Iowa (100-92) and No. 14 Indiana (74-69).
  • Ohio State’s only loss came @ Michigan (69-60).
  • The Buckeyes close the season with rematches @ Home against the Wolverines and the Hawkeyes @ Iowa.

33 points is decent defense but it could be that we are taking nearly the entire shot clock to get up a shot, usually contested, when we don’t turn the ball over.  Our lack of speed and quickness seems to be an issue.

Ohio State putting on a "How-to" Clinic! Quick 7 points off of turnovers & steals. They are athletic and not adverse to taking chances. Their defense is smothering, a lot of reach-in fouls that are not being called (I think they are so aggressive the refs are just letting them play)

Four minutes into the 3rd Qtr before we get our first score - they've scored 14 pts.

Whoa! Glad I am not watching this debacle.  Matt and Jeff keep praising the OSU defensive pressure but are not critical of our ball handling or passing.  Don’t we practice against pressure.  How can you be an NCAA team getting manhandled like this?
