Something something not extending contracts which signal indecision and hesitancy in recruits and handcuffing what the coach can do with the lack of that public support.

His contract was extended through the 28-29 season.

Maybe I'm misremembering the timeline, but this wasn't the same fortune of a prior coach who didn't get much support from the AD.

Biggest difference. Learned from the past. Big reason that last season didn't go as everyone thought, he didn't have support from his contract to recruit properly.

Yeah, but we replaced Moe Iba with Danny Nee who at least took us to the Tournament multiple times.

Look, I get what you're saying about Tim Miles.  It didn't work out.  Too bad it didn't.  I really like this team, and where this program is right now.  I'm done looking in the rearview mirror.

Well said. Mine was more of a statement of "well things may be different now". And interesting that it comes during a time we don't have a permanent AD.

In retrospect, that AD wasn't permanent, either.  😀

Fred Hoiberg is the coach of Nebraska for the next several years.  Tim Miles is at San Jose St.  Get behind Fred 100%.  Miles is past history.

I guess I'm not following. I was just stating that we've actually given our coaches the support they need to succeed here. That's exactly getting behind Fred 100%.

I misunderstood.
