Nice to see some continued effort after the horrible beginning.  This last stretch before half is critical, we need to stay in contact.

Last one wasn't a layup but he is NOT the only one missing layups.  Charlie missed a contested one, Thor just whiffed on one.

Didn't really take full advantage of that scoring drought, but every little thing helps. I'm sensing it's going to take at least another small drought to have a shot in this game.

We make the 5 or 6 layups we've missed this is a close game, even with the last 3

Looking at the stats, the only thing that stands out is 1 of 10 from behind the arc and they are just shooting better from the field.  The rest of the stats are similar.

According to Bardo, he had great poise.  He didn't at all just throw the ball up and hope it went in.

If there is a website that tracks FG % from inside 5 feet, I'd wager a lot of your money that we're in the bottom 10% of college basketball.  We just make basketball so much harder than it is designed to be!

 

I do like the resiliency we showed after the brutal start.  Putting forth effort for a full 40 minutes has been the tough part.
