They've played the RPI game right.

 

RPI: 8, KPI: 23, SOR: 18 with only 4 losses. Their only losses come in the beloved Quadrant 1 (Virginia, Nevada, St. Bonaventure, and Alabama). Their two wins were St. Bonaventure on the road and Alabama on the road.

 

Had they lost a few more, you'd start to really question their resume.

I know this is slightly beating a dead horse, but I'm watching the Gators school Alabama, and the bored commentators start launching into a discourse on which conferences are best. They've made up their mind on data points from 10 to 15 weeks ago. It's tiresome.

Sounds about right. An early departure in their tournament could do wonders for us, but at the same time if they still get an at-large we just lost an extra opportunity. I'm not sure how to feel at this point. I guess just root for Davidson on Friday and see where the chips fall?

Alabama 17-13 after this beatdown.  Sorry, they just cannot be in over us.  You cannot get your ass kicked at home like that.  Same goes for Mississippi St.

Feeling okay about tonight's start. Missouri is likely locked. Oklahoma State has more work to do. And I feel pretty good about how we match up against Buffalo and Vermont. Kudos to those two programs though.

 

Mississippi State will drop (or rise according to Lunardi) after this one. And Alabama just got closer to the bubble. Still much more work on that front, but if things go south, Alabama could be out.

Oklahoma is terrible.  My goodness.  Stick Evan Taylor on Trae Young and we beat these guys by 15+.
