At this point, I think it's down to two scenarios:

 

1) He told Coach Miles his decision yesterday and now they're figuring out the how/when to make this public, or

2) He is waiting for a last ditch effort in hopes the NBA will call him up, otherwise he needs to weigh his options.

With you on this one, to me it seems like he is looking for a reason to go.  That said, I've eaten a lot of crow in life up to this point so what the heck.  Dish me up a plate and I will gladly take it if I am wrong.

And he may have a team that has told him, if Players A & B go back to school, you're next on our board. So he may be waiting for Players A & B to decide.

 

I'm just not sure why he told the newspapers he'd announce Tuesday - I could've gotten more sleep last night if he had just not said anything about a decision date, because I assumed from the start this would go to 10:58 pm CT Wednesday.    That's kind of his deliberate style after all.
