  1. It was hard to gain a lot out of a practice but Bandoumel had a really quick first step and is gonna get a crazy dunk off this year, and Wilcher looks a lot better and agile after losing 15 pounds, also was fun to see Wilcher clapping/encouraging everyone the whole time

  2. I value your opinion. Seriously. After the late night or whatever you call it you were the first person to point out what you saw which you called "hero ball" and you were 100% correct on it. Hopefully the effort you saw the other night can lead us to around .500

  3. Or we are losing to really good teams. With the caveat being that there are 90 or so really good teams out there.

  4. Watched the Friday night basketball scrimmage gala (mens and womens BBall) It was just a scrimmage really, but could see a few things that we'll see this fall. They all seemed glad to be back at it on the big stage. Some shots weren't dropping, but it's way early and a scrimmage anyway. We'll miss Sam. New help from Hake and Krull will help make up for Sam being gone.....but Sam's ability to get to the basket was crucial. But there was a lot of driving to the basket by everyone last night. Issie and Jaz were themselves of course. Coley, seemed a bit more focused, ready to go. Annika & Kendall too. Trinity Brady played. She looked a little rusty, but that's to be expected. It was nice to see her back. Weidner and markowski looked way more comfortable on the court. Markowski had one of her signature 3's. Both seem smoother and less "new". Hake and Krull will be nice adds at the guard position....they both remind you of Weidner somewhat. They can handle the ball well. Of course, Mendelsen can make a huge difference in the complection of the team, but that's months away. That's about it for a quick overview. You all might have something else to add. Just nice to get going again. They looked like they were having fun. As it should be.

I'm going to give him one more year. I think he will adjust better to the speed of the Big Ten. Also, I think this year's team will move the ball better which in turn will benefit Keisei.

    2022 Opening Night

The quickness and athleticism of Gary and Bandoumel really stood out to me.

I think it's going to be Wilcher. Between the body transformation, the amount of pull he seems to have with the rest of his teammates, and the lack of obvious main scoring option I like his usage rate to explode this season and him to potentially lead the team in scoring.

  8. I can almost guarantee that there were a lot of people that honestly didn't care about the basketball part of the evening. Lots of people there, but when my dad and I left part of the way through the men's practice there were a lot of young women just arriving to the arena. Lol they didn't look like they were there to watch hoops action
