    Nebrasketball: The Book

For what it's worth, if there aren't enough reviews up on Amazon for this book for one's satisfaction, one could head on over to the Bluejay Underground. They've added a ton of their own reviews over there. It's nice that they care so much!

  2. At quick glance, it looks like the native Huskers are Jason Glock, Terrance Badgett & Chad Ideus (far right). The pro guys are Mikki Moore (partially visible behind Badgett) & Tyronn Lue (and also Erick Strickland, but he's hidden behind Lue in this pic!). The small-town kid you missed is Andy Markowski, standing in the back behind Jaron Boone's elbow. Yep, see him now. I did find 3 long-time NBA players, though.

  3. I'll say he looked like he had a couple of moves. There was a nifty up and under in there, but that might have been accidental. What struck me was the lack of athleticism, taking into account he is a big guy. He did not appear explosive throwing it down. Not expecting guard-type athleticism from him, but a guy his size should still be able to dunk with authority and there were times it looked like he barely got to the rim. I'm with Kamdy -- Next!

  4. Not sure why we are wasting our time going up against a heavyweight like Incarnate Word. We need to recruit kids we can beat the out schools out for.

  6. I will be honest watching him on film I do not see him being a major contributor at any P5 school. He doesnt look overly fluid, he didnt display any real moves in the post, and he looks to be easily pushed around by smaller players.

  7. Well done, men. Sort of underlines the role of team unity plays in winning games when one looks at the talent on that team and realize they didn't even get an NCAA bid.

  8. We do seem to love the volleyball players on this site don't we?

  9. When I read the headline of the thread, I can't help but think of an old Dana Carvey bit from SNL (back when SNL was still funny.) http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/tom-brokaw-pre-tapes/n10894

  11. This. If they win a NCAA tournament game, they could wear trash bags with holes cut in them for their heads and arms for all I care. Who have you been talking to?!? While not completely blind I do need the use of corrective lenses and I am one of those people who hold those voltage unis in high regard.

  12. Moses is/was the last player to average 25 ppg and 14 rpg in the NBA. And that was in 1981-82.

  13. This has really been a sad time for the NBA. Now we have fo,fo,fo no mo. With Moses and Dawkins leaving us so soon, I think it should be noted that Chocolate Thunder had the best personality but Malone had by far the better game. RIP to both.

  14. It's not. Promise? Yes. I hope you're right because I pretty much hate those. I am right. Our red and white shorts' design don't look anything like those. Are they anything like this?
