We should start a collection for a trip to Lawrence for MichHusker.  He seems to be a good luck charm for us.

I'll start the collection.  I have $.16 in my pocket to get this ball rolling.

i have .09 cents...so that gives us a whole quarter.  oh wait isn't that the topic on another board?

I really want to go but it's my understanding tickets to Allen are hard to come by because it is so small.

It seats 16,300.

Cameron Indoor is small...is that what you were thinking of?

No idea what I thought. Maybe I thought it was small because of the field house moniker. I thought Allen fieldhouse was a hard ticket to get.

It is a hard ticket to get but not because it's a small arena.  It's cause it sells out every game and KU fans don't sell their tickets.

Insert every complaint Coloradans used to make about Nebraska football: "There's nothing else to do in that town;" "It's easy to be a fan of team that's always that good;" "Sure, they're 'nice' to opposing teams because they win all the damn time; how about when they lose?" "What a bunch of hayseeds."

These complaints stretch far beyond Colorado regarding Midwestern universities. Especially the "there's nothing else to do in that town." Although they fail to realize comparable their daily lives are in comparison, regardless of where they live.

I'd sure go if I lived in the heartland and could find a ticket!

Just for the experience; even if there was virtually no chance of winning, as 49r pointed out! redface.gif

(Then again, Miracles Do Happen; like, if we could give 'em another dose of Farokhmanesh!  ;)
