Indiana is the huge surprise of the season.  Iowa being a 9 seed is also interesting.  Plenty of good games to watch. Would have been nice to get into that #6 slot as we seem to match up with MSU.  Better worry about Rutgers, that will be challenge enough.

should be more of the same with Indiana next season------believe Leikem is the only senior. not sure what they are doing recruiting wise. who are the favorites for coach of the year?---- Moren @Indy, which would be my choice. Frese and McGuff(sp) have so much talent. nothing unexpected with what they have done. same for Merchant.

sidenote: i see Indiana has the #66 prospect for next season. 6'3" F, but, espn states she has become one of the elite post prospects for 2016. Nike rates her very high, also.

The win last night was one of those team unifying feel good moments.  I like where we are at.  The Rutgers game looks like a 50/50 for us but more practice time with the dose of confidence we picked up will pay off.  We just need to be competitive and make the WNIT where we will get quite a bit of additional practice time.  Should give the returning players and coaches a good look at what we need to do during the off season.  Team chemistry will be very important.  You can already see N. Romeo becoming the big leader going forward.  She is showing her complete game and inspiring those around her which is great for a sophomore.

i would guess odds are......not long. watched a few of the wisconsin games and some of the "L's" weren't because of lack of effort.........but, sooner or later effort has to turn into wins. i would have to check, but, i think she does have a couple of good recruits coming in?

Watched their games, and they do seem to work pretty hard, just not a lot of talent.  Hard to tell how capable the coach is when your short on talent...then again recruiting has to be a huge part of the job. These days it's more essential than ever.

Checking on ESPN, it appears that several B1G schools have landed Top 100 players including Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan St., and of course Ohio State and Maryland.  I will be watching with interest to see how the B1G teams fare in post season play.  Baylor and Texas are head and shoulders above the rest of the Big XII.  West Virginia has some athletes and a good coach but I think the B1G has more depth.  B1G is behind the ACC, PAC 12, and SEC but maybe the margin is decreasing.  Of course UConn is head and shoulders above all but Breanna Stewart is graduating so maybe there is hope for the future.
