I'm hoping we can finish 9-2. I know it's probably a stretch but:

-Win series against Michigan State

-Win game against UNO

-Sweep series against Penn State

-Win game against Creighton

-Win series against Indiana

If we do that plus a good showing in the Big Ten Tournament and we could be at 39-40 wins.

Win 8 out of the next 11. Right now that's what Boyds Worlds says we need to do to get into the top 45 of the RPI. We have not won a weekend series vs a RPI top 50 team since Irvine visited in March of 2014 so a weekend series win vs the Spartans would be nice.

Seems manageable. Definitely not impossible.

One game at a time. Nebraseball needs to win the next game, then so on & so forth. Huskers have the talent, need to the consistent pitching and clutch hitting to overcome whatever circumstances are out there. Only way to improve is beat better teams at this point in time.

I don't see us having an overly talented team.   You could be right, but I don't see it.

I had no intention on stating that their talent level in Lincoln was high-end. I do think they have good hitters, but getting hits in crucial spots has been lacking. Same with the consistency of the pitching staff. This weekend will likely tell all, so we'll have to wait & see.

Well since I don't play, and I haven't been able to many games lately. Perhaps I'm not as 'invested' as some. ;)
