Clark saved the game with her 100% free throw shooting in 4th qtr.. Great win on the road. They played well without Rachel T and Maddie in first half.

Romero was on fire !  32 pts I think

Jess has matured....played more like a sophomore + ........29 pts 10 reb. Much better movement and hustle. Much better grasp of the team big picture.  Found her range at the line...only missed 1 of 10 (I think)

TO MANY CARELESS TURNOVERS @!!!@!!! 16 or 17.. It wouldn't have been close with half the turn overs. P St got about 10pts off our turnovers.

P S went to zone in 2nd half and it did slow down our 3 shooting to some extent

So Indiana beats MSU by 16 in Bloomington 81 to 65 that is a head scratcher. All though I think MSU is a bit over rated IMO

Wow do I suck at Pick 'Em this year.....

well I think we all did on this one, but usually one upset. And wisy about beat the iowa lost by 3 wisy had 2 shots to tie at end and missed em.

I went to the Big ten web site and it show MSU beating Indiana 81 to 65. I must have read the the other site wrong.

Could it be the Huskers have both the B1G Player and Freshman of the week next week? I think the two Huskers have a pretty good start! Jessica just keeps getting better every game. What can you say about Natalie! Such an exciting player to watch!

Anybody know why Theriot is in the dog house?  All they said it was a coaches decision.

Whatever it was, It's disappointing. She's a senior and the leader of this team, she can't put herself into that situation.

the one thing that was driving me nuts was the inability to cut off the driving lanes----well, that and getting caught flat footed when it came time to rebound. maybe add not boxing out, too.

tip of the hat to K. Clark!!! $$$

not sure what to think of the RT situation. like Row6Seat10 states, disappointing. maybe it's me, but, i really have questioned her body language in more than a few games this season. i think she really misses cady, sample, 'T', and jeffries----i wonder if, much of the time, she isn't frustrated with this lineup. she has been labeled as the "leader" of this team and it could be a situation she doesn't fully embrace. i could be way off base, but clearly, something isn't right. whatever it is, i hope it all gets worked out------i am sure we don't need to remind her it's her final season as a husker. we all want her to go out in a good way.

The quickness of their guards was to be expected...our defense wasn't ready. Still our man defense needs work to stop the drives to the basket. The top of the key was open most of the time. Their three shooter's were open for shots a lot.....they just didn't make very many.

Seems like we're so involved in the offense we haven't yet grasp the focus needed to stop people.

Their bigs weren't for the most part, weren't very effective. Couldn't slow down Jess hardly at all. But could rebound....out numbered us many times.

RT didn't do a lot after she did get in...maybe pretty unhappy about something....what ever it was.  Was Maddie involved too? She didn't play in the first half either.

Nat will be able to handle the point next year. She'll have some help in existing guards, plus there will probably be at least two newbies that can play the point soon. We'll see next year....hopefully we'll find another scorer too.

We did pretty well against their zone defense. We don't drive to the basket a lot anyway. But it did slow down Nat's 3's in the second half. (they played the zone better 2nd half)

The box score card say's P S scored 20 pts off our turnovers....we going to be cooked in some games if that continues. Most were bad passes.

Glad we play them at home next time.

The turnovers are upsetting but the thing that really was frustrating in last nights game was the offensive rebounds we gave up especially in the 2nd half.  We would play good defense, missed shot, offensive rebound, 2nd shot missed, offensive rebound, 3rd shot made.  You can shoot a poor percentage and still score most times down the court under that scenario which they did to keep the game tight towards the end.  Often they had one person get the rebound when we had several players in position.
