I do not mean (okay maybe I did) to cause undo excitment/disappointment.  Yet...I saw this headline and thought we got ourselves a great basketball transfer.  Instead, we got ourselves a star receiver by way of Washington.

 

That said, here is my point.  I couple of years ago a basketball transfer of this level would never have entered my mind...I would have been shocked.  Instead, I read the headline and stumbled over myself to see who Coach Miles nailed.  Alas, I was disappointed.  Yet, good for Bo!

I disagree, because that wasn't my point.  I was simply trying to start a discussion about changing expectations.  In the past, most Nebraska fans would have expected this to be about football.  However, in this instance, I saw the headline and thought the basketball program got the transfer. 

 

Oh well, sorry for the confusion and the missplaced topic.  I will let others lead the conversations during this off-season.

I'm curious...was this actually a major transfer?  I don't follow football recruiting at all so I have no idea...

Yes, this guy is a playmaker. High level recruit out of high school. I would classify him as a major transfer. Good schools were after him; supposedly including Alabama and 'Ol Miss.

described has a bigger faster, strong with more expericnce at his age version of Enunwa...id say so.

I remember watching his film out of high school and I was able to watch a few Washington games last year.  The guys is a stud that's for sure.  The coaching staff must have a pretty good relationship with him because he could have chosen just about any pass happy offense out there.  He will be a good one.
