If we are going by the letter of the law, Illinois should have 4 travels called against them. That means 1 of these times, they might call it.

 

 

Never said that those shouldn't have been called.  It has just been something I've noticed about Petteway's dribbling all year.

 

They all carry it based on how the rule is written.  Why pick on just our guy?  And yes the one called was an easy one.

Refs have been pretty inconsistent tonight. We got away with a lot of hand-checking in the first half despite all the fouls calls. Then again, we were moving our feet and swarming, so you get the benefit of the doubt when you're not playing lazy D.
