We Need:

1) Defensive stops

2) better ball movement

3) have to finish around the hoop

4) stop turning the ball over.  Coach Miles doesnt get on the players enough for bad turnovers.

I didn't want to bring up shields, but since someone else did, it clear he is having a sophmore slump.  Maybe this team can work through some issues this year, and like we always say:

I want this team to get to the level where we get some "calls" because of who we are.

Maybe it has always been this way in sports but you get a rep. and then they call the game because of your rep.

Good example was Maddix always painted the black so he got calls that were off the plate.

Not going to say that we loose this game because of the reffing.

We haven't played well enough to win.

But it does make a bit of a problem.

Sophmore slump...or playing like the basketball player he is? Let's be real...he had a few good games last year but that's about it. We want to badly to be good I think we as fans made him out to be better than he really is.

We lose this game because shavon shields goes 1/11. In games like this he needs to show up. Lot of slack given to him and a pitiful performance. Ray and TP showed up...even got a little from tai today.

Shavon you were brutal. Not bein a jerk just being real.

Tai had a rough game for the most part.

Tai Webster has to play better point guard or Aaron Craft with have a record steal day against him.

Tai is just too loose with the ball and dribbles it to high.

I actually thought Tai played well. Pitchford an Shields deserved to be on the bench...if we were deeper.

The only issue with Shavon is that he is a bit of a tweaner.  He is 2" short and 20lbs light to be a PF and lacks lateral quickness to be a 3.  But he has a high BB IQ.  He will be fine, but he likely will never be a difference maker.

I'd like to see Biggs get a start when he gets back. We've got nothing to lose, and he's our best point guard statistically.

I thought Tai played pretty darn well.  He had a couple bad passes, but beyond that, did well.
