Updated roster

It looks as if they added the new players but did not update the existing players. For example, Shavon is still listed at 6'6" and 214 lbs. It has been reported that he is now 6'7" and 225 lbs. I wonder if they will update the existing players or just leave them as they were last year?

Interestingly, they list Petteway as a 6'6" forward and Rivers as a 6'7" guard.  Shields is also listed as a guard rather than a forward.

 

For all the talk about Petteway playing point or starting ahead of Ray at the 2 guard, it looks like the person who put together the roster is hinting differently.

My guess is that player info will be updated once the individual photos are updated/added.

JMO, but I don't think the stated position listed for each player means much.  We know what position Rivers played last year and I wouldn't expect his role to change much this year.  Regarding Petteway (this is purely a guess because I haven't seen him play yet), I could see him playing more of a guard position, which would include the 3, than forward based on interviews and observations from others.  We shall see soon.

What's even better is to look at the roster by class.  I'm excited to see what we can do this year, but next year we will return nearly the entire roster, plus at least two additional players that are likely to contribute right away.

We are looking much better on paper.  Now we need to see continued growth on the court!  I will also be more excited when the site updates both the photos and the measurables.

Four scholarships available every year starting in 2015.  I guess I almost wish it was reversed, but either way Miles will have a lot of options in a couple years.
