huskerbaseball13 Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Got the pics from csabatka1 on a different website. The arena is starting to come together! Quote
lang Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 It looks "steeper" than the renderings I have seen. I hope what me eyes are seeing in these pictures is accurate. Quote

lang Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 And with those added pictures ( thanks 49r ), I'll say again, it looks steeper than the previous renderings I've seen. I'm sure someone on here got to see the model display that was at the Devaney before one of the games, does it square with the actuals we are seeing here. What I am specifically getting at is....do you think the upper levels at the PBA will be closer to the action than at the Devaney ? Maybe higher but more vertical than back away ( like the Devaney), if that makes sense. Quote
HuskerFever Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 @49r.... those are some real nice site-lines from those sections. Really seems like you're still close to the action. Quote
uneblinstu Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Also, it looks like they will be able to fit the arena with ice, which we knew, but it looks like won't fit like it would at a place like the Clink. That makes me happy too. End zone seating should come right down behind the court. Quote
PimpMario Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 So we have tickets in the 18th row. I pray that means we are somewhere in the "lower bowl;" because those pictures don't make it look like there is anything else besides "upper" seating. Quote
PimpMario Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 I own a video game store in Omaha: Game Vault. Maybe I should buy the naming rights to the board! Quote

I pray that means we are somewhere in the "lower bowl;" because those pictures don't make it look like there is anything else besides "upper" seating. 18th row is squarely within the lower bowl. The lower bowl has between 26 and 27 rows depending on the section. Quote

I pray that means we are somewhere in the "lower bowl;" because those pictures don't make it look like there is anything else besides "upper" seating. From what I'm seeing by blowing up the picture is that there are 17-18 rows pictured in the lower bowl. I think there should be another 8-10 rows of 'floor seating' installed below the yellow railing that we see. Does anybody agree with this? Or is what we are seeing the entire lower bowl? Quote
HF_ Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 No it goes all the way down to the floor, what you are seeing is just the permanent seats. Quote

Absolutely, if you look at the very first picture from the op, there is 10' or more of space where the bottom seating will go. Quote
ajb5856 Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Also, what is with the black and the red? I'm assuming those are the installed seats they've got in already. I thought we were going solid red all the way around. Quote

Jurgey Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 The top row in the lower bowl is row 27. That's the row my seats are in. FYI Quote

Jurgey Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 According to Leah in the ticket office, in Section 114 in the lower bowl, the top row is row 27. Quote

FYI The NU ticket office told me that the last row in the lower bowl was row 24. The ticket office doesn't know much depending on who you talk to. Row 24 is possible but I do know that it depends on the section. Some sections have 26 rows, other have 27, others might be different as well. Quote
Daledangdarn Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Looking at these pics makes me hope Pinnacle expands a couple years after opening like Qwest did. Quote
Concrete Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 i doubt it will be in a couple years, but expansion is possible if demand stays high Quote
