SEC is kicking B1G’s tail.  Maybe Maryland can come back against Bama but I have my doubts.  B1G Coaches better look at the types of athletes they need to recruit to stay competitive or if they want to be elite.

That was a rough game for USC.  They nearly had another player injured.

UConn’s path is clear.  Switch the coaches of South Dakota St and UConn and the same personnel.  Who would do better?

Iowa was too high a seed. They should have been more in the 8-10 range.

I am afraid the NCAA Tournament has become a TV program.  The seeding committee is aware, or made aware, of TV ratings.  It also may explain some questionable officiating in men’s games where mid-majors are involved.  After all, would Colorado State and New Mexico bring enough eyeballs to the screen?

Watching some games today (Sat).....geeezee.....the refs are not calling fouls !

Last night  UCLA...Betts was getting brutalized ....beat up...very few fouls called.

Seems like teams that likes beat you up, has a chance to win in the tourney. That's what it seems to have come to.

My opinion...the college game has become more physical tha pro games (both men and women).  I see it going the same direction in high school games.  In my humble opinion, AAU basketball is steering that ship/ trend.  It is taken the game away from the art of the game (athleticism) to a rock fight.

Just saying...

If Geno was coaching SDS the final score would have been closer.

Uconn has a generational coach sds has a coach

Would Paige Bueckers go to Brookings?  The guy at SDSU is a great coach even winning games in the NCAA Tournament with the talent pool he draws from.  Geno, to his credit, has the entire nation.  He should be in the Final Four every year with the talent he attracts.
