Great job by the team not to get down after the early gut punch from Washington.   Looked like we were the better team even in the first half - but early on they just made everything.   Sure evened out eventually though and we really had a good night offensively.   Brice was his usual self and Connor hit some big shots tonight as well.

Really good bounce back after those two home losses.   (FWIW when Dylan Harper plays Rutgers is really good.   They would definitely be a rated team if he had been healthy all season.)    Now we just need to defend our home court and we are in the tourney.

Am I the only one who thinks that Brice gets fouled way more this year than in the past but goes to the line much less ??

When is the last time NU has had back-to-back wins during one road trip?

Does Hawaii count ??    (I would say no - but that was what came to mind when I was wondering the same thing.    Not sure I can remember any time where we played two true road games without coming back to Lincoln in between.

How does Brice not get to the line 15 to 20 times per game?! He gets mauled every single game, it's got to be frustrating for him. He's toughened up significantly lately, though, he doesn't seem to let it affect him as much now as it had earlier this season when calls weren't going his way. I think he realizes his career is coming to a close & balling out appropriately.

We got the 2 home losses back with these 2 road wins.  Now, just protect home court and we dance!

Really, we can win any game left on our schedule, if we play like the 2nd half.   On the flip side, we can lose any game left on our schedule, if we play like the 1st half.

Very, very true. Every game will be dogfight. Yet if Brice, Juwan & Connor (and maybe Sam and/or Berke?) can get enough buckets while the D holds up well enough, a lot of B1G dubs are out there.

Rutgers is 4-1 in the B1G when Harper plays (healthy)

Wilhelm with the Joe Holmes treatment.

That is a blast from the past :).    Joe shot free throws with about the same accuracy as Andrew Morgan :).

I don’t recall Uhlis getting in, our bench got shortened a bit tonight

The NU-UW boxscore showed Ulis had a grand total of 1 min. tonight. I don't even recall when that occurred, tbh.

According to the play-by-play, he came in with 30 seconds to go in the 1st half.

How far do we think a 7.5 man rotation will take us?  Really wish some of Sam’s grittiness would rub off on essegian on defense, he has the length to be atleast an average defender he just doesn’t seem to have the will too a lot of the times.

I probably say that every single game, if Connor could defend anywhere near as good as Sam, then NU would have an amazing offensive & defensive lineup "all in one."
