I am so sick of watching us play defense. Other teams must feel like its Christmas Eve the night before the play us knowing the wide open looks they're going to get.

wisconsin is 9-19 from three.  i haven't liked how many threes our defense gives up since the creighton game last season.

This. It isn’t like teams just play lockdown D against us either, they make theirs, we don’t. Sounds eerily familiar to posts I made during Fred’s first few seasons.

Then Wisco goes on a 16-2 run.

 

Then we end on a 5-0 run.

According to live stats, we are 4 - 6 on lay-ups.  What defines a lay-up?  I felt we missed countless more.

I wonder if Nate Loenser sits over and thinks we just don't execute our defense properly, and that there's nothing schematically wrong at all.

Gee, I wonder if it's because we play 6 guys who are transfer portal first-year players. It's almost like building a team like that isn't sustainable. Last year was obviously lightning in a bottle at this point.

If we miss the B1G tournament, conversations HAVE to be had.

 

If we miss a post season tournament, I still think conversations need to be had.

 

If we miss the Dance, I am 50/50 on whether conversations need to be had… but that’s going to require quite the turnaround to make an NIT.
