That didn’t turn as much as people think.  Those teams in Hawaii were bad, and those wins were nice but. Nothing to be elated about.

Oregon St just beat Gonzaga, Murray St is on the verge of a Q2 win, and Hawaii was a true road game (something we struggle with). Sure they weren’t world beaters, but statistically those teams turned out better than I would have thought beginning of the year.

Brice getting stripped again, like at the end of regulation at Iowa, was huge.  They get a runout, 4 point swing.   He needs to get stronger with the ball, or don’t do that stuff.

There are multiple times a game where he is open and passes up a shot to drive. This was one of those times. It’s almost as if he’s a drive first, shoot second type of mindset but his shot is pure enough he’s one of the guys I’d be ok with driving second and shooting first.

my one son who watched the first half on tv before work last night said.  It has become hard for us to run our offense because of the other teams holding and grabbing jerseys coming off screens.  On tv I guess you could see that CE is basically being tackled because they know he can hit the 3 off of a screen.

Once again I have trouble on how the Big Ten lets this turn into a brawl every game.  It is a disservice to our teams when we get into the tournament and aren't aloud to chest up defenders and grab so much off of screens.

I think it has become the loopholes that coaches have really started to exploit.  Play very physical defense, bend the rules because there isn't an offical in the world who will call every true foul every time down the court.

In my opinion it would help the game if they did because then there would be a better flow to games instead of the wrestling matches we see now.

Oh and will have to burn my new Husker Basketball shirt I got for Christmas.  wore the same one for 2 years and what we only lost 2 - 3 games? Sorry🫡

To add to this, if that’s the way the games going to be played, we need to start playing that way too. Match physicality with physicality.

Yeah, unfortunately we are not a very physical team.  I thought we would be, but we are not.  There wasn't a player on Rutgers team that should have knocked any of our three bigs to the floor last night.  Yet, all three of our bigs went to the floor multiple times.  Berke had a chance for a put back at a critical point last night, and instead went to the floor in search of a foul.  I believe the ensuing inbound pass was picked off.

Braxton would complain to the refs mid-play...why?  He also let Rutgers get into his head when he went to the free throw line.

Folks, that kind of mental gymnastics and physical whimpering cannot happen in our league.  Goodness!

What are the rules on that anyway?  It looked like the ref was set and ready to pass the ball when Rutgers pulled that switch.

It is my understanding they can move and switch until the ref stops them.  If I  recall Meah said something to the ref and ref simply smiled and shrugged.

Gonna need more from Berke 0 pts, 3 rebs, and 2 assists in 21 min and 0-4 from the field.

Need to get him going

I envisioned him being a 20+ point Scorer on a somewhat regular basis & that’s obviously NOT happening.
