They tried to start policing it, but it's gotten out of control again.

I just don't get it.  Were we just not as good as it looked earlier in the year?  This should not be happening.  Mid-week struggles are going to kill us again this year.

Just another gut punch.  Wouldn't worry about hosting-- I'd just worry about playing well enough to actually make the post season with the way things are going at this point in time.

How in the hell did Stone's ball stay in the park?

Why do we PH Buttenbach when Brumbaugh flew out to the warning track 2 x today?  That was his 6th at bat of the season.   I would have rather had Walsh in that spot.

We had probably 4 balls hit better than Dieters 2 home runs that stayed in the ballpark.

Some of Bolt's recent decisions have not helped us.  That one takes the cake though.

I just saw we had Hufft in for Brumbaugh for defense. Understandable.   

 

However, so many things he did wrong that inning.  Should have pinch ran Buttenbach instead of Overbeek.  Knowing if you get to Hufft's spot in the order you can pinch hit Overbeek.  Since you did pinch run with him, you have to pinch hit Walsh in that situation.

Losing to CU sucks, but besides that - they really need to pull their heads out of their asses if they want to stay on a regional path. No gimmes in the next 9, next team with a losing record is Minny in May.

I think winning the Big Ten title is the thing they're concentrating on, evidently, because consistently losing to that little Jesuit school in eastern Omaha doesn't seem to be a priority TO CORRECT, at all.... sheesh.
