Purdue beat Northwestern by about 6.  So not real impressed with Purdue against a weak opponent. 

On the other hand we had a stinker our selves.

 

We play Purdue tomorrow, Thursday at about 2 approximately. (we play after the first game of the day) We win, and next would be Friday, vs. Mich St.....all if the last bracket I looked is still correct.

I am nervous about today’s game.  Purdue has a game in the arena and I think the Huskers are putting a lot of pressure upon themselves.  If we were to stumble I am not sure we would deserve a NCAA bid.  We need to get off to a fast start and put Purdue out of their misery.

Makes me wonder what our travel routine is.  We often come out overly sluggish on the road.  I get it, travel can be tough, but after a few minutes, you need to be able to focus and shake the cobwebs off.  Hopefully that happens within the first few minutes of the second quarter, otherwise this is going to be so ugly I can't think about it.

How luck are we that Purdue cannot shoot much better than us.  Plus let’s throw the ball away to let them score.  Geez, we look like a middle of the pack team.

They're pretty much going to let White shoot.  She either needs to make a couple or stop.  I'm leaning toward the latter.

Neither team looks very good.  Key in the first 2 games was Terry had early foul trouble.  Not today.

Her shot is really bad.  At the top of her motion, she drops her support hand and shot-puts it 1-handed.  Those are really hard to control the trajectory.

Several of these passes are head scratchers, especially from veteran players, especially this late in the season.

Jaz, I love her, but she is maddening.  Great one play and throwing it away the next. She has to be on the floor.  We lucked out with Markowski not getting a third foul.  We need someone to step up offensively to win this game.
