According to Robin Washut, Miles said Rivers is questionable with a leg muscle strain. Almeda is good to go,though. If he starts I give him 8 minutes before he fouls out.

But it could also be because that is a lot of minutes for some people to log.

I know that some can run for ever, but some start to break down after awhile.

Obviously playing more minutes increases your chance of injury, but there is no reason that a guy in as good of shape as Rivers can't handle those minutes with at least 3 days in between games.

Could this be from having to play like 80 min. in the last 2 games?

No. There's plenty of players in the ncaa that average over 35 minutes per game.

Most of them play for us

statistically Ray is at 37 minutes, dylan is at 35, and Brandon is at 32 for those above 30 mpg.  Shavon is at 27 and David is at 25 rounding out the rest of the starters.

Per Kent Pavelka on Sports Nightly, he practiced today.  KP said based on that, he expects him in the starting lineup.

I tore my calf a few years ago and took a couple of months to get better.  However, I was quite a bit older than Rivers and not in game shape.
