Gophers were also 12 of 27 from the free throw line.

You go sub-50% from the FT line on 20+ attempts...I don't care who you are, you deserve to lose.

Hey hey hey — don’t look now but Indiana is 3-1 in conference.

Murray State also upset UNI to inch closer to a Top 100 win.

All good news but if we don't find ways to win games that we are up 15 points in the 2nd half, none of that will matter.

Indiana's only true league road game so far was against us.  Their win vs an apparently overrated Penn State (which is looking much worse today than it did yesterday before Illinois damn near doubled 'em up) was at the Palestra in Philly and I'd be willing to bet the fan distribution there was maybe 60-40.

KenPom has Indiana going on about a 9 game losing streak.  In this next 9 game stretch they have 6 road games and the three at home are Illinois, Maryland and Michigan.  I wouldn't be climbing on the Hoosier bandwagon juuuust yet.

Damn Oregon State couldn’t pull it off. Mental mistakes to finish off that game.

Here I thought they would be a team to challenge Zaga and St. Mary's for the conference crown. Boy-- they look like a middle of the pack WCC team right now.

Their KenPom ranking actually went up after the loss...

They dropped to 30, so we survive for another day.

We need them to have a get right game against Rutgers so that Rutgers doesn’t come into PBA with some momentum.

Indiana is getting boat-raced at home by the Illini at the half, it's 60-32. Sheesh.

Halfway through the 2nd half, and the Hoosiers are 0 for 13 on threes. And I think the Illini have made 10 threes thus far. It's still a 24+ pt. deficit for Indiana playing in the front of the boobirds at Assembly Hall.

I'm not sure which player he's talking about - all 5 Hoosiers look like they have no interest in being on the floor right now.

These are the kinds of outcomes that will get a certain coach fired. Not cool, Illinois, not cool.

Ballo would be the big post, but... as you mentioned... there were about 5 guys on the floor that could give a darn on that play.
