You might need a device like Roku or Firestick for TV watching.  I use Roku.

The lineup today is my guess for probable starters rest of early season before B1G

22  Natalie Potts - 6-2 - Fr.
40 - Alexis Markowski - 6-3 - Jr. - C
0 - Darian White - 5-6 - Gr. - G -
1 - Jaz Shelley - 5-9 - Gr. - G -
42 - Maddie Krull -5-9 Sr  G

Really like Potts, great BBall IQ, can do lots of things.  Good size too. The overall depth is better than in several years. Maybe more "potential" as a team is a better way to put it. May be we can get over the hump so to speak

But we've got to get  in groove soon, with Creighton coming up. It will be the test of where we are going as a team.

Some of my observations after defeating NW State 90-42.

Another injury to Maddie Krull isn’t good news.

White has a midrange game that no one else seems to possess.

Potts is a solid all around player and so far, the best at finishing at the rim.

Alexis goes after the boards but still doesn’t have a go to move in the post.

Stewart seems to be in improved condition.

Jaz is solid at both ends but I want her to get to the free throw line more.

Hake can shoot and hustle but will be a defensive liability against better teams.

Nissley isn’t shy about shooting threes.

Petrie was solid today.

Moriarity made some nice passes but still seems to lack confidence.

Coley seems lost at both the post and wing positions. Her length on defense is her best asset.

We still jack up too many threes without going inside out.

Rebounding is going to be a year long issue, especially on the offensive end.

I like the defensive full court pressure.

Looks like Krull is in a boot

I ran into Maddie at HyVee yesterday and talked to her for awhile.  She was wearing the boot then as well.  I asked her what happened and she said it was a minor thing that happened in practice.  Hopefully she will be back soon.  She was a joy to visit with.

As for Natalie P.  I would pay the price of admission just to watch her play defense.  Great all around court sense in every aspect.

Hard to tell what we have.  The second half was soooo sloppy.  On offense too many people doing too many different things.  The two bright spots.

1)  we get back much quicker in transition

2)  how well Miss Potts runs the floor both offensively and defensively
