Seat Yourself

Feels to me like we are headed toward a pretty full PBA next season (at least until we start losing ). Best I recall, the current availability of seats in the Seat Yourself program is lower than it has been at this same stage in prior years.

I'm hoping I can luck out and get a 100 level today just for me. 10:45 is my time so I may be cutting it closer.

My seat yourself time was yesterday and most of the lower bowl was gone.  I already have 4 seats in 100 level so I'm good but I got those last year and there were a lot more available then.

First time going through the seat yourself process and I forgot about the donation aspect. I ended up getting one in the 100 levels thankfully. Was sweating towards the end there

Nothing but singles in the 100 and 200 sections when I went in this morning. I'd rather watch on TV than the 300 section and I don't want to sit by myself for every game so I passed. 

 

That means this is an NCAA team and I'll regret my decision

Only singles left in the 100 - my last year going with my senior in high school. Been going with him since PBA opened. So, will keep our same seats in 200

The rest of us appreciate you taking one for the team like that. And, if it's any consolation, tickets for our NCAA tournament games will probably be available somewhere.

No more seats available in the 100 unless you want a single seat. Looks like all the 200’s are gone as well. As of yesterday there were at least 6 or 7 pairs in the 100 I had my eye on. My seat yourself time is in two hours. Just gonna keep my current seats, again.

I don't actually order my own season tickets so I'm not familiar with the process. Do you get priority for seat yourself if you're already a 100 level ticket holder?  If you're trying to break in that's about the most compelling reason to buy a single ticket.

 

Otherwise with our non-con I'm expecting to seat my family of 5 in the 100 level with just 2 100 level tickets most nights

My season tickets are in the 300's but for non con we always sit in the student section behind the basket.

Just logged in ten minutes ago for my scheduled time to see if I could move my pair from the lower 200s to the 100s as well.  Still three or four singles in the 100s and a few singles around the 200s but any pairs or more are upper bowl only at this point.

Glad we have the 200s as it stands now and also have access to another pair in the 100s for the season.

Guess I'll go without again this year, my time was just a few minutes away. 300 is just too far away for me. Maybe someday my baseball season tickets will get enough priority points to get in.

Priority points are based on total spend and giving per year to the athletic department. My 200 level seats don’t have a donation so I’m sure that hurts my ability to pick better seats.

Isn't there a cumulative component as well or am I making things up?

I think that's what was meant by "total spend" in FMP's post.

Priority points are only based on donations; the cost of tickets are not considered. They are calculated as 3 points per $100 donated in current year plus 1 point for every $100 giving in previous years. You can sometimes get "bonus" points for paying your invoice early or completing ticketholder surveys.

 

I'm resigned to the fact my priority points will never be enough to get me to the 100 level unless we have a prolonged series of losing seasons.

Available tickets are pretty much limited to the top 5-6 rows of the 300 level at this point.

 

Looking like PBA is going to be rocking this year (once we get past the snooze fest of the non-con)!

Any word on when 1890 contributions start counting? That's where I have been donating. Not much, just $25 per month, but that would be 9 priority points a year based on the above.

Oh. That makes sense. I’ve been a season ticket holder since PBA opened on the 200 level. But that makes sense that cumulative it doesn’t count, I spend $600 on tix plus $90 to park and who knows how much on Gas from Omaha and concessions…

Really don’t care, just want to win!!!
