Thought this may be interesting.  Most of us have run ins with other husker fans throughout the world.  I have had many, how about you?

My most recent was last week in West Seattle.  We were sitting in a neighborhood tap room called Ounces.  A dude comes in wearing a Husker hat. I commented that I liked his hat.  He laughed and said he was originally from Grand Island.  He still watches the huskers; but really enjoys the atmosphere whenever he locates a watch party.  Good stuff.

I moved to Utah a few years back, and get excited every time I see someone with a Husker shirt or driving a car with a Husker plate holder. It's rare, but I come across a fellow Husker maybe 1-2x per year.

The most memorable was a couple winters ago. My neighborhood has a golf course which is groomed for cross-country skiing in the winter. I rode my fat bike over to the course to pedal around the XC track for a bit after work, and there was just a single car in the parking lot.  That car was decked out in Husker swag. Unfortunately I didn't run into the owner during my ride, but I found it somewhat ironic that the only two people on the course were both Huskers 900 miles from home.

No matter where I've traveled, I seem to find at least 1 Husker connection, it's uncanny, really. Husker fans are simply the best at repping their team or at least making it known that they support the team in public settings. Even with all the turmoil of the past two decades, that pervasive passion for Husker athletics hasn't waned much. GBR!

Begging the question.

Ah. I don't recall that being an HHC inside joke. Semicolons are on the HHC Mount Rushmore of IYKYK, and grammar corrections are a touchy subject of the internet in general.  But I don't recall begging the question being a contentious or noteworthy choice of words.  Guess I can't catch 'em all.

It just happened last night.

I've seen either people wearing Husker gear or Husker flags/memorabilia in at least 3 other continents aside from North America. Always cool to see. And have enjoyed every interaction I've had with them. Even if it was as simple as "GBR".

My last run in with a fellow Husker was in Dublin.
