Why this Saturday? Why not wear them at the last game at BDSC? There's a symmetry in that or did we play MSU in the first game? If we want to do commemorative/throwback events let's at least have a context. It's like, Hey next Tuesday, everybody give your significant other a goldfish.

Maybe because its the last weekend home game and they want to make sure the game is well attended?

has it been confirmed that that is the 1976 retro jersey?  It looks pretty similar to this one:

Here's the schedule from the 76-77 season.  

 

In March 1977,Nebraska Regent Bob Prokop called for Joe Cipriano to be replaced.  He called for Cipriano's boss, Bob Devaney to be replaced as well.

I got a kick out of Ubel's comment about the length of the shorts in the LJS today...I guess we will know the length of the shorts at the game tonight.

 

As funny as it would be, I hope we don't see a bunch of John Stocktons out there.

I thought the uni's looked sharp tonight!

Except Andre.  I don't want to pick on the kid's weight, but ...

 

Seeing Andre on the floor tonight with his red high tops and matching red socks and his tight-fitting jersey, he honestly looked like he was wearing a pair of wrestling boots like one of those old-time professional wrasslers and I was half expecting him to forearm smash one of those Michigan State players into the turnbuckle.

 

Someone please post a picture.  Seeing is understanding.
