nevermind Posted September 2, 2020 Report Posted September 2, 2020 (edited) She's a freshman this year, class of 2024. She plays on Coach Williams daughters AAU team. Her mom is the head coach at Elkhorn North. She was offered by Creighton earlier this summer. Edited September 2, 2020 by nevermind Red Don 1 Quote

redsteve Posted December 2, 2020 Report Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) Britt Prince 2024 ....Keep your eye on this one. I've seen her play. She's really athletic, and knows how to play. Pt guard material, or a 3 shooter. Great ball skills, can run the floor, and can shoot anything, step back 3s too. Plays as well as a senior in HS...yet only a freshman, Prince hasn't even played a HS game. Best freshman I've seen for quite a while. Edited December 2, 2020 by redsteve whoopdeedoo 1 Quote
whoopdeedoo Posted January 11, 2021 Report Posted January 11, 2021 heard sdsu was going to offer...now official. Quote
whoopdeedoo Posted January 12, 2021 Report Posted January 12, 2021 listened to 'severe & benning' this morning. benning mentioned to the guest about the number of good girl basketball players in nebraska. the only one in the discussion (by name) was Prince. plays the game beyond her years. very mature. no doubt will be playing somewhere when done with hs. mwm89 and Red Don 1 1 Quote
redsteve Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 For those of you that take the OWH there's an article in this mornings paper that includes Prince (freshman) and her Mom. Interesting read telling about the HS team and how young the team is, and how well they're doing for a new team. Read it quick then I had to go off line. Red Don, 12dozen and HUD 1 2 Quote
HUD Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 I watched one of her games recently. She hit 8 out of 9 three pointers and had a bunch of other points as well. Taylor McCabe from Fremont is considered by many as the best outside scorer in Nebraska right now but in my mind it won't be too long before Britt Prince has that title. It would be great to see them play against each other in 4 years when McCabe is a junior at Iowa and Prince is a freshman at Nebraska. whoopdeedoo, mwm89, Red Don and 1 other 3 1 Quote

I liked the part, stating Britt started very young, by dribbling a ball on the kitchen floor. Per mom, 'that was OK in our family'. Red Don and mwm89 1 1 Quote

Cazzie22 Posted May 28, 2021 Report Posted May 28, 2021 NU is probably going to have to show major improvement to keep a player this highly valued to stay in state. Unless she has the attitude of Caitlin Clark who wants the home state school succeed. All About the Corn and mwm89 2 Quote
All About the Corn Posted May 28, 2021 Report Posted May 28, 2021 Cazzie you are so spot on for Prince. Bluder has done good work at Iowa so really not much of a surprise she chose to them. Amy and staff need to step it up. Hopefully that happens. Quote
swmckewon Posted June 6, 2021 Report Posted June 6, 2021 Hard to say with Prince. She's not deciding for 2 summers. Nebraska could be a very a different program by then. The right pieces are there now. The right attitudes. Good chemistry. Very different from, say, 18 months ago. HUD, Red Don, mwm89 and 3 others 2 4 Quote
redsteve Posted July 2, 2021 Report Posted July 2, 2021 (edited) With the visitations being allowed to open up again, Prince was recently on UNLs campus for a visit. So we must at least have our foot in the door., and Price is listening and looking. A commit from Prince is probably a long way off... .... but ..... The program has been getting some good local vibes since Markowski, and Weidner committed. Offers from the Maryland level schools will be tempting Edited July 2, 2021 by redsteve 12dozen, whoopdeedoo, mwm89 and 1 other 1 3 Quote

Red Don Posted July 20, 2021 Report Posted July 20, 2021 You're just full of all kinds of 'Good News' Whoop!!! (jus kidding) We may not have a Caitlin Clark (yet), but I really like our squad and expect us to be Very Competitive in the B1G (unlike last season when everyone was holding their hats expecting the worst only to be pleasantly surprised with an exciting season. I like our chances with Britt Prince given our fan base and attendance and if we develop like I hope. (some excitement from the men's side wouldn't hurt either ) (Certainly not directed at you Whoop - We're all Quote
