Steveh4 Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 (edited) That was all Doc, he’s a defensive coaching genius. With the lack of size we had we had no choice but to be scrappy on defense. Edited November 12 by Steveh4 basketballjones, Vinny, Huskerpapa and 2 others 2 3 Quote
hhcmatt Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 Found an interview from last year. My next door neighbor is also from Maryland and his accent is identical to Steve's so now I know what a Maryland accent sounds like. Steveh4 1 Quote
Steveh4 Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 lol. I was born and raised in Washington, DC but Maryland is the neighbor and eventually the place everyone move to. Quote

He went to Pacific after NU. Not sure after that. We should have gone after Dru Kuxhausen, a teammate of Green at Western instead. Handy Johnson 1 Quote

Will never forget when you sprinted full court and saved that ball against Texas A&M in 2009 and were incorrectly called out of bounds. You guys deserved to dance. Go big red! TourneyBound Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 I still remember watching the first game and Samari Curtis putting up a 3 and wondering what the world kind of form/shot that was I just saw. Prolly the slowest release in college basketball history. He was gone a few games later. Lol Quote

After we beat Creighton in 2018, I heard Chris Heady argue adamantly on a podcast that Miles was better vs. Creighton than Doc ever was because Doc never beat Creighton. Doc was 3-3 against Creighton. Having a job covering Nebraska basketball for the biggest newspaper in the state does not require you to know much about Nebraska or basketball.
