Seriously? How many earned runs did he give up?

The 1st one went 2/3 of an inning, I think he gave up 6.  The next pitcher went 4 2/3, giving up 9, including 7 in the 5th inning.

Pleasantly surprised with the offensive output.  I would have thought we would need about 35 singles to score that many:)

This looks like a very sweepable series at this point. Just need to keep the bats rolling.

Gomes looks like a stud in the making.  I don't know what his role might be (starter or closer).  My personal preference is starter.  He is throwing 92 - 95 consistently.

I think Shay has better stuff than Gomes, but that is just me.
