B1G Tournament (Non-Husker) Game Thread

Thought I would start this up for some other B1G discussion.

 

Illinois took care of NW in OT yesterday.

 

On Tap today we have....

 

OSU/Indiana- Almost a play-in game to a possible play-in game.

 

PSU/Minny- Minny really needs this one more to feel secure than sweat on Sunday.

 

Illinois/Iowa- Go Illini!!

Indiana showing they deserve a bid early... Down 8-3 and missed four shots in one possession.

probably biggest single game of the tourney right here. 

definitely a bubble monster.

Both teams started slow and heated up toward the end of half 1.  At the 10 minute mark, it was something like 11-10.

Really seems to be something about the rims there. I hope Maryland takes the same length of time to adjust. Just wish we would be able to run Dean Smith's old four corner offense should we break into an early lead!

One of the guys last night said that the NBA rims are different from college rims. said that they are calibrated different. But I didn't see where they glass had the NBA logo on the glass. is it true that they adjust the rims different than college or high school?

Hoosiers on an 11-0 run and now down just 9.  They were down 20.  I would much rather have OSU in this one as there is a chance I think that OSU and IU still both get in.

Minny and PSU in ot.  Refs missed obvious foul on Minnesota late in regulation. PSU player was driving for lay-up and Stockman for Minny grabbed his arm as he's going up and nothing called.

Well, that win should make the Jackwagons a lock. Too bad.

 

Hope we see them in the final.

Refs are just ridiculous .   Play way too big a part in it the outcomes

I just hope we can get a correct goaltending call to go our way tomorrow.

Iowa has forced 2 shot clock violations in the first two minutes. I think Illinois should fold their program.

It's too bad the Illini are just terrible at fundamentals, they seem to have a few athletic parts.... Underwood made a Frankenstein squad of sorts.

Jackwagons win again, 75-73 over Purdue. 

 

Carson Edwards looks worn down. Might be the best thing for PU to get some time off before NCAAs.

 

Will be very curious to see how Michigan looks. They did not finish the regular season strong. But they've been so good the past two seasons in this setting.

Looking pretty good.  Just like last year against us.  Whipping up on Iowa.
