tcp Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 still shooting poor from 2 pt range, but we're right in it and have plenty of room to improve our shots. Had too many attempts at 3 seconds or less. I counted about 8. Need to be quicker and more decisive on offense. Quote

Huskerpapa Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 We need to keep fouling...but not with Roby for god's sake. Quote

Handy Johnson Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 (edited) Well, well, well, looks like we got us a “game”... Edited February 10, 2019 by Handy Johnson Quote
tcp Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 Haarms with a stupid foul. Roby tells the world to hold his beer. Sigh. Quote
HuskerBB Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 Roby gets some of the worst phantom fouls called on him. Would have been OK for Amir to foul there - but we did not want one called on Roby. Quote

tcp Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 Really need to make friends with that shot clock a lot better. So many of our misses are on rushed shots at the end of the clock. If we can miraculously clean that up a bit, and work a bit harder securing misses on the other end, we have a chance in this thing. Purdue's not playing badly, so there's room for them to go both ways. Quote
Nebrasketball1979 Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 The team in the first half can compete and win games down the stretch to finish the season. Tonight will be a tough one to pull out but the intensity, effort and most importantly the shot making can carry this team to several wins. If this version of Nebraska would have shown up against Illinois, Rutgers, Maryland, etc, the situation wouldn't be so dire. Quote

Not the first time he's been ghosted. Still keep the hands and body off to make sure there's no chance of that call. He knows how refs whistle him (an dhe's done a terrific job, btw, of improving on that issue, too). Quote
tcp Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 Supporting cast did great that half. Something's gotta break with Watson, though. We have got to get anything going for him. Here's to slugging away in a good second half. Love how these guys are playing the game so far. Quote

Huskerpapa Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 Glynn has to understand his shot is right there. He needs to keep firing when he is open. Quote
