Can we talk about comma usage? That second clause is complex, and it begins with a subordinate clause. You need a comma after "Finals."

I was actually debating whether to put a comma there.  I guess I lost the debate.  ?

You wrote the bolded statement above using passive voice; you should consider revising.

 

I would suggest something like: "Man, you used that semicolon like a boss; if you can use your colon that proficiently, you're doing great!"

The most fun way to identify the passive voice?  Place "by zombies" after the verb.

 

"(The) semicolon is used perfectly by zombies."

Yep. That's going to be a pivotal tourney to grab 2 dubs, one would be over Missouri St and then either Texas Tech or USC. Take KC by storm, Big Red !!!

I "easily" talked my wife into going to this tournament!

All I had to do was promise we had court side seats...

And we would stay at the Hilton President!
