Adidas, making a comeback...

http://fortune.com/2016/08/04/adidas-outperforming-nike-ua/?iid=leftrail

"The growth in North America bested the latest quarterly results from Under Armour (up 21.5% in North America) and Nike (sales were roughly flat). Nike executives earlier this summer found themselves defending the “strength of the brand” in the North American market, while Under Armour’s 17% sales jump for apparel fell short of the 20% target. Wall Street analysts were mostly persuaded that both would soon return to their former glory."

"...the strong growth for Adidas in the second quarter, which builds on a 21.8% increase a year ago after two years of declines, implies the turnaround story has got some traction."

I gotta be honest... I'm really liking the gear Adidas has put together for the baseball team:

As long as they don't put us in some of those crappy uniforms they put Louisville in.

And I super dig that Nebraska/American flag hat.

I guess I don't mind the grey ones too much. They just remind me of the Diamondback's new uniforms which I heard called glorified slow pitch softball uniforms and I can't get that out of my head. These ones look more like throwbacks.

Wow... I had no idea.

"The Huskers are Adidas’ longest-running client in college football, a relationship that goes back to 1995."

Some people say that's what gives NU a claim to "flagship" status with adidas.
