I think until Mendelson joins the team in late December Williams will use Stewart as the backup to Markowski.  That is where she played some last season and almost exclusively on the Greece trip.  I think Potts and Petrie will battle it out for the power forward position along with Coley.  At guard I believe Weidner will be the starter eventually along with White and Shelly once Weidner is 100%.

I will be in the minority; but I would not let Allison see the floor unless she is 100%.  She likely can be close at the start of the season; but that is not good enough.

Allison plays @ 100 miles an hour.  She goes full out, and plays aggressively.   She is going to put her knee through the grinder as soon as she is cleared to play.  You simply cannot change her DNA. If she is not 100% I fear another injury.

Again, that may be just me; but I simply cannot envision Allison ever not be an aggressive player.

Hold her for Big Ten play!

Practice should start in about 3 weeks from tomorrow which is the NCAA required 40 days before the first regular season game.  Hope we get a little info from Coach not just on Weidner but the team as well.  A press conference where questions can be asked would be great.  Even a segment on Sports Nightly would help.

I know some athletes say they do not feel 100% til the season after their comeback. Look at Orr on the volleyball team. I wonder if she feels 100% back? I will take Allison back even with her at 90-95%. She just has to play smart, and listen to her body.

i did hear that Orr had another procedure done in the spring.

Creighton and Iowa go down.

Looked at the Creighton stats. Green Bay out shot them (percentage) by a good margin. Both 2 and 3  shots. Hard to tell if it was Green Bay defense....but probably. Creighton had low percentage 3's stats...24% roughly.

Green Bay shot 54% overall. Maybe they had one of those night where everything seems to fall in.

The Iowa game looks to be a full court defense, and a big... big, ...to slow Iowa down. And...K State is on the rise.

But regardless...how sweet it is !

Green Bay also missed only 1 free-throw

If she would have tried that against the old Vivian Stringer Rutger teams, she would have been clocked. Might be a player or two in the BIG that would drop her in her tracks.

Stringer used to coach the Hawkeyes...I think.

Yes, prior to coaching Rutgers.  I recall Don Imus getting into trouble with how he described her Rutgers team.

C.C. shoves off a lot. I find it funny that lil' baby C.C. had to complain to Mommy. What a crock. Why can't she be a good player without being so ridiculous on the court? Her act is comical, she's basically a caricature at this point. And she has the nerve to act like the defender is the one being dramatic. So ridiculous. Wonder if the refs actually called a foul on her. lol
