AuroranHusker Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) Nebraska and UC-Riverside meet for a four-game series February 17-19 at Tempe Diablo Stadium, home of the Angels spring training. Huskerpapa Posted January 25, 2017 Report Posted January 25, 2017 We should have a pretty darn good team this year... Quote
Row6Seat10 Posted January 29, 2017 Report Posted January 29, 2017 Here's video of Erstad talking on the phone with MLB Network's "Hot Stove" series about facing Troy Percival's UC Riverside team, his playing days, How he got to play football at NU and Nebraska's MLB players who frequent Hay Market Park in the off season. I couldn't get the video to embed. http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/7417714/v1221300583/erstad-talks-about-his-playing-and-coaching-careers HB 1 Quote
brfrad Posted January 29, 2017 Report Posted January 29, 2017 If Schriber can stay healthy, our pitching stays healthy, we should have a pretty good team. We need a few bats to step up in the line-up. Quote
The Polish Rifle Posted January 29, 2017 Report Posted January 29, 2017 Listen to Nebraska Baseball on the radio religiously, probably the most psyched I get for any husker sport. Really excited for this year. HB 1 Quote

huskerbaseball13 Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 Injuries starting early this year...Burkhamper likely will not be ready the first weekend due to shoulder soreness. Not good news considering he has had battles with this in the past and it greatly affected his velocity when he returned. Was counting on him having a good year for us. Hopefully they can get him fully healthy for the Big Ten season. Quote

I believe he was our highest rated recruit. Will probably live in the mid to upper 80's this year. Should get quite a few innings this year....possibly a midweek starter? Quote

Yeah im guessing he helps eat up some of the innings King had last season. Can't wait to drink some beers and watch the Frisco Tournament on watchespn. HB 1 Quote

khoock Posted February 13, 2017 Report Posted February 13, 2017 Hoping for some more consistency this year. Seems like we have had collapses to end the season the past couple years (One much larger than the other). Should be able to get another tourney bid. But let's make some noise this year. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 Unbelievably, the weather in Arizona is supposed to stink this weekend. And of course, in Lincoln it will be high 60's and even in the 70's...go figure. Bugeaters1 1 Quote
The Polish Rifle Posted February 17, 2017 Report Posted February 17, 2017 Well gonna need to get the bats going to win this one. Down 4-0 and they are teeing off on Waldron. Quote

Bugeaters1 Posted February 17, 2017 Report Posted February 17, 2017 Hope that Palkert can pick up where he left off from last year. Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted February 17, 2017 Report Posted February 17, 2017 The 6 hole looks like a slick fielder. Quote
The Polish Rifle Posted February 17, 2017 Report Posted February 17, 2017 Man their reliever absolutely destroyed us. Not gonna win many games allowing 4 unearned either. Lets get the split. Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted February 17, 2017 Report Posted February 17, 2017 Yeah that was tough, usually Waldron is nails in that spot. but not today. Quote

He must of missed his spot by a wide margin. This field is 340 to the corners, 380 to the alleys and 420 to center....so that ball had to of been pissed on. Quote
