Might be time for the world famous players only, behind locked doors, nobody tells what happens, go on a hot streak meeting, that happens every once in a while in sports.

As much as I think thissome of thses does go on the coaches, some of these guys might have had a hard time shaving this morning if it ment looking in a mirror.

Just my $.02 worth.

My compliant about this whole deal and this is probably directed more at the coach than anything. He shouldn't use the low fan turnout and the weather as an excuse.  Don't put the players pathetic performance yesterday on the fans.  The  fans don't coach; the fans don't suit up...playing like they did yesterday they might have the same turnout towards the end of the season. The U needs to stop bringing in these halftime entertainment shows and start focusing on putting out quality basketball. The whole team needs a fire lit under their asses. Coaches as well as players.  If Coach Miles is on the hot seat...the whole team should be feeling that heat...not just him.

To be fair, if you heard the entire quote from Coach, he wasn't making it an excuse.  His point was that before the game he told them not to expect to get energy from the crowd and they needed to generate their own.  If anything, I took it as him saying the crowd wasn't an excuse, not the other way around.  I'm not making excuses for the way they played, I just think people are taking the quote out of context.

Yes, the whole quote is on another thread and he was saying it will likely not be a large loud crowd, that you as players need to get by that and play hard even if it like a library, which it was.  I added the bold part.

If you read the whole quote, it to me sounds like he was saying "don't blame the fans."

Honestly, the whole quote should have been posted and not just bits and pieces. It's like one big game of telephone.

It didn't help you had guys like Nick Gregath posting bits and pieces of the quote on Twitter to stir the pot and try to get listeners for his radio show this morning.

Yep... be like a headline saying "Entire Nebrasketball message board wants Miles fired."

When we all know it's a few threads that say this and there are actually some very level headed posts.
