Penn State Game Thread: Alright Lunger, Let's Do It!

Well, it's here.  The two most sickly programs in the B1G square off to see who can escape the cellar (if only for a moment).  Can't you just feel the tension? 

 

Not much to say about this game.  The home team is a 3 1/2 point favorite.  Both teams are banged up, but in what would be a pleasant surprise, Brandon Ubel could play today.  You know, if you give him a mustache, a hat and coat, and put a cigarette in his hand, he kinda looks like Val Kilmer....  Nah, never mind.

 

It's time to find out which team is the daisy.  I looked up what "daisy" meant.  Back in the late 1800's it was a common slang term for "the best in its class."  Just never know what you'll learn at HHC!  GBR!

Good work, Cip.  Val Kilmer's Doc Holiday is one of the best ever.  Dennis Quaid wasn't bad, but Kilmer easily outdid him.

Speaking of Maryland, Shatel earlier this week was making the case for Maryland being the team to open play in the new arena.  Not a half-bad idea, IMO.

0 for 4 from the floor so far.  Matt had an interesting stat during pregame.  We're 8-0 when shooting 40% + from the floor.  1-8 when we've shot less than 40% .
