  1. How anyone can watch this offense and think that Miles needs more time...I don’t know. Lets hope like hell he does not have Moos wrapped around his finger like he does the national media.
  2. After 7 years of mediocre to bad shooting it’s a coaching issue. This is why IMO bringing up future recruits in the fold is irrelevant when discussing Miles.
  3. Doesnt look like a bubble team. Looks more like the unprepared road team that we normally see. And quite honestly, the final nail in Miles coffin.
  4. At this point last year, this year we were going to be a shoe in for the NCAA tournament. A top 4 Big Ten team. That hasn't worked out so well. I have a hard time believing that in year 8 we will all of a sudden become a fundamentally sound team on the offensive end. A team that can put the ball in the hole. I would suspect Miles will still get his chance if he can finish strong but it must start tonight with PSU.
  5. Its the easiest hole on the course. I’m going for it and not thinking twice about it.
  6. Probably a long shot...8-12 gets us in contention if we can win out at home and win @PSU. Again, long shot but let’s see what we can do now that we broke the streak.
  7. Kevin Kugler. Usually money but that was a screw up
  8. If I was a Gopher fan I’d be angry. But, we’ve been on the other end of that type of call so many times. We deserved one to go our way.
  9. Glad to see Glynn have a good game. He deserves a strong finish
  10. Is zone just not a thing for us anymore? They are killing us down low
  11. We have Amir playing the post now. Not sure what’s worse...Miles inability to recruit a bench or his ability to coach offense.
  12. Getting the Tim Miles offensive slump out of the way early tonight. I’m convinced that we just don’t practice on that side of the ball.
  13. Since Cope's injury Nana is not even averaging double digits in minutes. I don't think it's going to sway the outcome tonight one way or the other unless we get in major foul trouble.
  14. We could do a lot worse, winning is all that matters but it would be nice to have someone that actually plays an exciting brand of basketball. Weber does not fit that mold IMO.
  15. I will actually be very surprised if he is released of his scholarship over this.
  16. Dont know if the Husker fanbase is the greatest or not but I think we can all agree that the fanbase has zero to do with Miles inability to put together a consistent offense. People can bash on the fanbase all they want...no matter how great they could be it was not going to turn Miles into some great X’s and O’s coach.
  17. It will certainly be more exciting than the last month of basketball. It will at the very least give the fanbase hope.
  18. Might as well just tune him out the next month. The guy knows he’s fired. Im excited for the coaching search. We will see who we land on and if it works out but this program and fanbase needs something other than Miles at this point.
  19. Feb and March apparently does not fit in Miles 5 year plan.
  20. Recruiting was falling off as well. Add in that Bo Pelini was/is a complete lunatic his firing went beyond the field. Had he been a normal human being he may have been at Nebraska longer.
  21. Had Moos attended the basketball game one has to wonder if it would have raised our FG% atleast 5 points to get over 25% for the game.
  22. AKA, Shaka Smart. Texas is obviously a way better job but Texas is so political not everyone is the right fit. I think Shaka would again strive in an under dog type of roll.
  23. 1620 brought this up a while back and it has something to do with Moos not allowing outside contractors or something to that effect inside the athletic department. It wasn’t just a basketball thing, but an all sport thing. I have no idea if Moos has or even should bend over for Miles on everything. But, I feel confident in saying that Miles had enough resources to build a winner. At the end of the day, Miles is ultimately to blame for the current state of the program and the year after year lack of fundamentals and poor shooting on offense.
