It went from we would not win 1 Big Ten game to we would not make the NIT to our bubble burst vs Illinois, to now we have no chance vs Baylor. I wonder if they ever get tired of being wrong?

This isn't some blind squirrel finding a nut. This is a coach who is proven, and a coach who has done this at every single school along the way. I think almost everyone one here including Coach Miles would admit that this is probably happening a little quicker than anyone anticipated. What you fail to mention in regards to Shields/Petteway/Pitch is that these guys were essentialy nobody's a year ago. I don't think Miles got "lucky" that their skills have developed into what they are. I'm not sure if Miles will every be lighting up the recruiting world but we have a coach who has proven can identify AND develop talent which is huge.

I think we have a better chance to beat Creighton than we do at beating Baylor. Not liking the idea of facing a zone the whole game forcing us to shoot jumpers. We will need Rey to have a big game to win this one IMO. And on the other end...Baylor is very good solid on the offensive end. It will be a fun matchup, but a tough game for us.

This is only the beginning Husker fans. Win or lose Friday Nebrasketball is here to stay. The sleeping giant has been woken and he's pissed.

I guess the the Huskers haven't degressed as bad as some think huh. UCI having a 1.60 ERA and the Huskers did that to the Eaters. It's not really that they have "degressed" it's that they haven't progressed. As I said numerous other times...the same problems you saw with this team under Anderson and Erstad years 1-2 are still present this year. That was two much needed and good wins...but tho MO of this program the past few years is that we are very inconsistent so now we need to keep playing like we did vs Irvine on Saturday. This team has proven it has the talent to beat top teams across the country but they also have brain farts where they fail to show up. Need to play well vs Creighton and no let down against Iowa or else the wins vs Irvine do not mean all that much. We don't have a lot of room for error.

It's almost amazing how much they whine....BTW, they haven't lost a game this year. It's always the refs fault. Get ready though...one more loss and the whining will double next year when they have to realy on the beasts known as Avery Dingman and Will Artino every time down the court.

The consensus is Iowa is in...thus I would be surprised if they are left out. Also, I think we are a head of teams like BYU and Utenn. Crossing my fingers for a gift and a 10 seed...it's a possibility. I'll be happy if we are just in but would really like to avoid the first round game...especially if its against Dayton AT Dayton.

With our roster right now we have a pretty good chance at becoming a very good team next year and the year after(if Petteway is still here)....and with some of the prospects left on the recruiting board I think it would be best case if we can find a few transfers that can come in right away and help us do some damage last year as opposed to signing a few projects that may not help until 2-3 years down the road.

Huskers get two big wins today. Played much better all around. Big series win, much needed for at large discussions at the end of the year.

And he needs more help than just shooting. His ball handling is lack luster also. Hopefully he makes a big jump next year but I believe his talent level is worse than what we were lead to believe. Looking back I can't believe we were worried he may leave early for the nba. I think he can end up a decent player, but it may be a few years away.

Thankfully Websters minutes are diminishing. Right now he pretty much brings nothing to the court besides a few turnovers a game. If Benny can play 35 minutes a game that would be great. I believe Tai has made 2 field goals in the last 11 games...for the amount of minutes he gets that Is mind boggling bad.

. Huskers lose again. Is it still to early to say this team may need to win the BIG ten tourny to get in? Going to take a nice effort tomorrow to get a series win.

Tough loss. I hope we can find another PG who can come in and play right away. If Webster can't improve dramatically this offseason he should only be getting mop up duty.

Players and coaches have nobody to blame but themselves. Miles needs to learn how to draw up an inbounds play the players let OSU take it to them at the end.
