It will help land kids who didn't want to play in the MVC because it wasn't a BCS school. It might also lead to this feeling down the road. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqCdZ_-RWVY Still isn't a BCS league. More like a Mountain West type league.

what a meat grinder. Man that is a bitch per usual.

Oh dear god. Was that during Collier era when we tried this or during one of Doc's first couple years? Whenever they made us try that, it was awful. They came over the PA and announced this crazy new method of standing until the OPPOSING teams scores its first basket, and well, it didnt work. Half the people sat down after our first bucket and the other half remained standing and just starting taking their seats one by one until everyone was sitting. That is the fault of the execution, not the concept it sounds like to me. Not even close which concept provides more of an impact in theory. I guess now would be as good a time as any to try it with all the newbies coming into the fold. The reason it didnt really work before was because everyone was so used to year after year of sitting when WE scored. Yeah. Current method seems kind of lame. Doesn't exactly get peoples juices flowing. And can actually add undu pressure on our kids if we start with a drought. We need to come up with ways for the crowd to make a difference, like Norm said.

I was fine up until this point. Sellers came from HOFSTRA!! He wasnt at UCONN when you got him. If he had been that big of a commodity even in the slightest he would've gotten a better gig after being let go at UCONN. He was on his way down not on his way up. Holy smokes. Tommy G making a complete fool of himself. Even Creighton fans have to laugh when they come read this. They probably feel embarrassed since he makes them all look bad. Hard to get his ass kicked as much as he does here.

Good. You should totally take him to a women's bowling match (do they call them matches?). If that doesn't cause him to commit on the spot, I don't know what will. Speaking of yawners, that Nebraska-Iowa football game was nonstop action, wasn't it? I was in Vegas at the time siting in a sportsbook waiting for the Creighton-Wisconsin basketball game and they actually turned it off to turn on something more exciting. Do you have any clue about anything? You are aware of the wind conditions that day correct? My goodness, you make a bigger ass of yourself with nearly every post.

Miles simply smarter and craftier in all aspects of the job. Facilities helping but he would be doing well without them as well compared to what we are used to. Teaching kids to get better is very overlooked aspect. Great at that.

For the record, I said that because the team's best player, Sherwood Brown, who was both leading scorer AND leading rebounder, graduated. He was also the team's leader in total minutes played by a large margin. Secondly, I wasn't putting down the schedule at all. In fact, I even went so far as to point out that the exempt tourney you are in is more difficult than the original poster thought. Don't go cherry picking stats to try to save the egg on face. You were badly mistaken yet again. Man up.

Stuff is amazing, as are the steaks he deals with.

Tai has landed in Lincoln, not yet cleared

Miles is smart enough to identify a way to make the offense function. Prior coaches would have not been smart enough to think outside the box and even consider Talley running the show. -

As well he should. I think I forgot to message you. The steaks I bought there were truly incredible but the salsa stole the show. Some of the best, if not the best salsa I have had. Really really good. I need to get my hands on a few jars of that from this years batch somehow. So amazingly good. Fiance loved it also.

Is this the most unimpressive NBA draft ever?
royalfan replied to jimmykc's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Yep there will be surprises without a doubt. The main difference is that there aren't the high probabilities of large success at the top of the draft. Makes sense on the athletic testing. People continue to become more athletic as time goes on. That is why the nba is better than ever right now.I of course don't think the NBA Is better now than ever. With 7 more teams in the league there is a logical diluting of talent. So even if you think the top players are better now (which I don't) the teams were deeper and IMO better. Top 50 players now boatraces the top 50 from previous eras. -

Same guy that incorrectly informed you that SAT scores didn't matter at all?

I think Kamdy made some comment some time ago about not being able reclassify anymore. In other words, once you've declared your graduating class, that's it and you can't change it. Which means his clock starts running, I take it? Kamdy would be the guy to ask but I'm pretty sure he said that wouldn't be possible. Correct. This previous year would've been the last year for anyone to reclassify, hence Tory Miller doing so. Up until 2016 players that dont make the grade either have to continue to do the Baylon Heard/Antonio Bell method of testing until you get it right or go to a Juco. In 2016 you can take an academic redshirt year, and assuming you make the grades will then have 4 years to play 4. Now I have no idea if reclassification applies to any foreign players so this may not even apply to Tai. In my opinion, it would not be good for Nebraska if Tai had to go to a JUCO first. Nebraska was able to keep him under the radar pretty well in order to get him to sign. There is no way that he stays under the radar if he is playing in the US. Another possibility is that Tai wasn't completely under the radar, but that a lot of programs simply stayed away because he was not yet eligible. And again Tom proving he doesn't know crap from apple butter.

Not that surprising. He wants to continue to coach in the best of leagues. Big 10 far better than watered down new league Georgetown will be playing in.

Reason # 2354 why I don't like to watch the NBA
royalfan replied to Silverbacked1's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Scott Brooks was the difference. Just an awful coach. He mangled that series.
