Momentum trumps depth often times CWG in these scenarios. Not always though. Miles will do well to massage it. Most likely it is one and done obviously, although I do feel we could beat Purdue. We need them to beat Minny.

Talley not a complete surprise. But he could qualify since it is surprising how much and how well he has handled the basketball. If he qualifies then him. Good point. Would likely be easier to win a 2nd round tilt for sure day 2 in the earlier slot. Looking at any positive we could get in a 2nd round matchup. One is that we will have a day to familiarize ourselves with a traditionally tough arena to shoot in. Whoever we play will be playing for the first time there. Traditionally some extremely low scoring big ten games when they played at the United Center. The types of games we will need to be involved in to try and steal one at the end. I am not sure if the rims they will be using will be as tight as they used to be or not. Not an easy building to shoot in anyway though for some reason.

There are a lot of games that need to be predicted to do this, but assuming Michigan beats Indiana, Mich St. over Wisconsin, and Minny over Purdue among other things it would look like this 1. Indy 8.Illinois 9.Purdue 4. Mich St. 5. Wisconsin 12. Penn St 2. OSU 7. Iowa 10. Nebraska 3. Michigan 6. Minny 11. NW

Purdue would be a perfect situation. I wasn't aware it was possible, but I think it may be. They obviously need to win next game. I will probably dig a little deeper. I want us to make the dance so damn bad, I cannot help myself from dreaming for some some reason.

Good report card, although I would have given the player of the game to UBEL. He was sensational tonight. Hit a big three to give us some cushion early in the 2nd half, and then some very tough minded drives late against good athletes in the paint. Andre was pretty good though as well obviously.

Was a perfect night is right. Got to throw back some beers with several of the posters to start it, and then watched a heck of a gutty effort to close out the bob. And won a good chunk of change on the game to top it off. Hard to be much better. Was happy that the seniors all played really great games, and we couldn't have won without any of them doing anything less.

I will be there. I think the lady and kids are having dinner with someone while in town and then stopping by for a short while before hitting the Bob for the last time. So just me for most of it.

Is it tough to understand this a thread about Mike Gessell? You Creighton trolls really struggle with this concept. Pretty easy decision from my point of view. It should be sold. It is legal and it provides more revenue. And it allows people to enjoy a beer or two if they so choose. Who loses by selling it? Nobody.

Would be nice if it shakes out where we would play Iowa in the 7-10 game in Chitown. A team that doesn't overwhelm us athletically. Cant win 4 games until we win one and that is probably the best matchup we could hope for.
