  1. If you look at Jeriah's he seems to only tweet around his visits and retweets stuff about him for it. Im pretty confident in getting his signature but we will have to wait and see. Also I posted it before but watched highlights again and Rivals ratings etc and this kid is so close to what Draymond Green was out of HS its scary close in many ways. I mean only 8 spots difference in rating #122 vs #130 for Horne. http://sports.yahoo.com/tcu/basketball/recruiting/player-Draymond-Green-52422

  2. Miles has gone on record to say that Nebraska needs a player like Shavon ( and not just because he's graduating... ), and that player definitely seems to be Jeriah. Hope Horne pulls the trigger for Nebrasketball sooner than later.

  3. What I like about Horne are a few things. 1) He has a big body. Mold that thing up with some weight lifting and he could be very physical down low, even if he is "undersized" 2) He is crafty with his moves. Doesn't "wow" you with athleticism, but kind of reminds me of a Shavon Shields type player 3) Creative around the rim, with soft touch. Uses his body well to establish position on the block for a guy his size. I also think this guy has room to grow. I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up 6'9 or so. And with that "beefy" body, hitting the UNL strenghth program, he could really bulk up well.

  4. Glad you were specific with whos legs had the hair. Mom might not appreciate it had you meant her.

  5. If he can be a 45-50% 3pt shooter he can end up in the NBA. When guys of similar size like Matt Bonner or Steve Novak can carve out entire decade-long careers based solely on 3 point shooting, that tells me he can be a complete one trick pony and still make it. I would just be surprised if he goes from a slightly above average college 3pt shooter to an elite level NBA shooter. There are plenty of examples where this has happened but it would shock the hell out of me if it happened with Pitch.

  9. I think we might be able to get to her because she might not be very mobile correct?

  10. Pretty significant difference in Horne's offer list compared to Draymond, tho... https://rivals.yahoo.com/tcu/basketball/recruiting/player-Jeriah-Horne-166799

  11. Oh man, Norm, it seems like things are heating up! Think we can manage to get 20 pages in before he makes up his mind??? It's gonna be close, we got some work to do here...

  13. As I have pointed out in a previous post, heights have become somewhat subjective and seem to depend upon what one wishes the public perception to be. Case in point, Hillary C. used to be listed as 5'5" and is now listed as 5'7" which is a decidedly unusual growth spurt for someone in her age group. Maybe she is counting the extra two inches her nose has grown this year. ( oops, I'm sure this post won't last too long)

  14. Darn it, I somehow missed seeing them. I almost always get a good view of the people on the field before the game and get there early enough to scope them out so don't know how they slipped by. Did get to see Bill Jackman though. And Doc, of course, who was, ahem, a bit more "portly" shall we say than I remembered. Maybe Horne came by during halftime since I left when we had it salted away at 22-0 and visited the quilt museum with a grandson. Nice and cool there and we saw some colorful quilts.
