Okay I heard this little rumor today so take it for what it's worth, but supposedly those shirts were made by Craydon fans in Omaha who then put a party bus together to come down from Omaha and root against the Huskers. The guy who told me this may be completely full of crap but the shirts didn't make sense that they would be made by SW Minn fans. Anyway does this show us how desperate they are to stay relevant this year when they're clearly going to suck, or are they just that big of d-bags? I guess it could be both. If that rumor is true, then I pity them for having nothing better to do...other than to come to Lincoln and see the best basketball team in the State this year and for years to come. Take it for what it's worth, but I also heard a rumor that Creighton fans tend to feel underprivileged in the Midwest market and overstate their accomplishments in order to feel relevant. I can't remember, but I think I heard that from a guy wearing blue under his Husker shirt sometime during the Fall on a Saturday.

We had over 10k show up for the exhibition this year. Last year it was 7.8k. Two years ago it was 6.6k

They were just expending some pent-up frustration over having such an incredibly craptastic football team to root for.

I was secretly kind of glad he didn't pick us. I have to say I was honestly never that impressed. And the way he strung us along was just bush league. I'm glad he's getting a great education at Louisville. He's got great seats to Louisville basketball games as well.
