I looked on ESPN and it said this game is a toss up. As in an EVEN spread. That seems interesting to me

Probably part of the quick turnaround. We're a 7.5 opening underdog in Vegas

Should be a fun game tonight.  The second half we started to look more like the team we were before Shevon got hurt. If they continue to build on that should be a good, competitive game with a good chance for us to squeak it out at the end.

I suppose we matchup better with Wisconsin than some other teams but we're also talking about a squad that has won 11 of their last 13 with their only loses coming to Michigan St and Purdue on the road. We probably have a bit better of a feel for the Greg Gard version of Wisconsin and no doubt we scouted travelling to Indy.

Wisconsin isn't shooting a ton of 3s still but they're hitting a higher percentage than at the start of the year. Koenig is hitting 42% from 3 (he shoots as much as Andrew White). Hayes, Brown, Showalter, and Hill are also hitting at decent rates (they have a Shields/McVeigh/Parker like usage rate)

Inside it's Hayes and Happ with Happ also being a stellar defensive presence and probably the best Freshman in the league this side of Diamond Stone. Last time we concentrated on Happ and held him to 2. Hayes scored 20 and the team finished 11-18 on 3s.

Last time we played Wisconsin, it was in Madison and neither Shields nor Morrow played--an 11 point loss for the good guys. Hopefully, Shavon on the floor, some quality minutes for a still-foot-sore Ed, and a neutral site all bode well for tonight's game.

Wisconsin was one of the games I think we win if we were healthy at the time. Wisconsin has been on a role lately while we have been struggling so that gives me some worries. But at the end of the second half yesterday we seemed to be gaining some confidence and fluidity on offense. Second half defense wasn't great but I'd honestly prefer they didn't exert a lot of energy on defense since we pretty much had the game in hand majority of the second half. Most players played 5-10 min under their average so hopefully they will be a little fresher and can go into the game with some momentum from last nights win. Sometimes all it takes is one win to get you rolling. GBR

I would say it all depends on how we defend Wisconsin on the perimeter. They have looked very good lately, and I would argue their most impressive win was the grind-fest in Iowa City. This team is tough and can beat you a number of ways. Nebraska's chance to win tonight hinges on how well we shoot the three, and how well we defend it.
