Engelken.  Good stuff, struggles with command

 

 

You could say that about all of our pitchers.

 

He has better stuff than many, and less command than many.

I see were throwing our ace, any ideas why we put Burkamper in there? I'm guessing there is gonna be a shake up in the rotation?. King work his way back into the rotation? 

Because he will not start Friday.

Another sloppy win. Hopefully we sweep this weekend and get some momentum for next week which is a big one!

-rivalry game at Creighton

-Big Ten series with preseason favorite Michigan

Off to another screaming start against Summit League's finest. 

Why don't you go manage the team, Sense Erstad is in over his head.

 

 

 

I'm assuming you will not be voting this upcoming November as I'm fairly certain you are not fit to be President?  On second thought, you may be a better candidate than most that are running.

I'm guessing Howell will be back in the Friday night role?  Last night Erstad said Burkamper has been around 83-85 MPH and that's just not good enough.  That's a pretty big drop off compared to where he normally is...I wonder what's going on.

King will start on Friday.

 

 

I guess that would explain not using King during the midweek.  Can't say I have alot of confidence in him as a Friday starter right now but I guess you could say that about anyone in the rotation.  Hopefully it pays off...hard to win series with a quality friday guy.

The Garret King experiment seems to be a failure.  It seemed like every batter had a 2-0 count in the first inning.  Hopefully, the bats came to the park tonight. 

 

Do we have any pitcher that can get ahead of hitters?

I should learn not to be so quick to judge.  King has gotten thru 6 innings, only gave up those 2 1st inning runs.
