Iowa is absolutely THRASHING 4th ranked Iowa State (KenPom #12) in the first half in Ames.  They lead by 18 with 4 minutes left in the half.

Big 12 did not enforce the strict rule they imposed against the uncontrolled mob rushing of the court/field instigated last year. I guess that's because only a journalist was injured. I wonder if college administrators fall into the same category?

So Iowa won a game in December. Not the one that mattered, mind you (that would be the Big Ten football title game). But, Iowa fan is overjoyed with a Rose Bowl berth and a 1st game of the B1G hoops vs MSU. Go figure.
