throwback Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 Not sure this Euro team is playing as strong defensively as we saw Tuesday, but they're much more skilled offensively Quote
Concrete Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 Anyone know who is playing well today? This periscope is pretty grainy unfortunately. Quote

throwback Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 Benny with the pull up 3! 50-40 NU Quote
NUtball Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 Anyone know who is playing well today? This periscope is pretty grainy unfortunately. Not sure about the players, but the refs have really brought their A-game on the traveling calls. When NU gets to the real season, they should score a bunch more since they won't get called for traveling 15 to 20 times a game. hhcmatt 1 Quote
HuskerFever Posted August 21, 2015 Author Report Posted August 21, 2015 HALFTIME: 53-41 Huskers Quote
throwback Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 Was that McVeigh with the 3 at the buzzer? Great first half by NU! No idea on individual scoring - seemed pretty balanced to me. Quote

The good news is it's not our inability to dribble the ball...it's our inability to adapt to Fiba rules. Apparently traveling is different over there...who woulda thunk it. Quote
ajb5856 Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 53 points????!!!! Are we sure that car horn didn't signal the under 4 timeout of the 2nd half? Quote
jimmykc Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 Finished half but still had trouble identifying players. Now on pace to break 100. Things I learned: 1. Microfiber towels are superabsorbent. 2. One or more female refs I think, although the breast areas seem to be fuzzed out by a censor 3. They must teach courses at the Basketball Academy on how to run mops 4. There are at least 100 of us who have nothing better to do on this Friday afternoon. throwback 1 Quote

On one fast break near the end of 2nd Q, the player basically tapped the ball to another player and got called. He didn't even touch the ball long enough to physically be able to move his feet. Quote

Unfortunately we didn't get to hear them try to translate a pizza order during the first half today. That was good entertainment in the first game. Quote
jimmykc Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 For some reason, when I went back to watch the second half, the first half started over again. I feel like it is Groundhog Day. Quote

That was great - I think it lasted about 3 quarters. Kent Pavelka 1 Quote

Huskerpapa Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 Wait...I am sitting in the Portland Maine airport and just logged on. Isn't this supposed to be the "good" team that we are playing and we are supposed to lose??? Quote
throwback Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 I think the Euros are getting pissed. Quote
