hal9000 Posted June 25, 2015 Report Posted June 25, 2015 ‘She’d Be Hella Proud’ A Grantland feature on what Terran has been through. Must read. http://grantland.com/features/shed-be-hella-proud-terran-petteway-nba-draft-2015-nebraska-cornhuskers-big-ten/ "You gonna man up or are you gonna bitch up?" I like it. Silverbacked1 Posted June 25, 2015 Report Posted June 25, 2015 Best thing I have read in a long time. Even if He wasn't a Husker, it would have Been a great read. Good Luck tonight TP! Quote
MichHusker Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Dang, hoped he would have gone to Detroit at 38 Quote
HuskerFever Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Dang, hoped he would have gone to Detroit at 38 Aside from your completely justifiable bias, this was probably his best shot at getting drafted as well. Quote
hskr4life Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Its not looking good, but crazier things have happened. Quote

Gotta think his next best chance will be philly but I'm not sure if many here would be thrilled with that Quote
royalfan Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 I would be thrilled if Philly drafted him. Don't think it happens though. Hopefully he gets great advice from his camp on where to sign as a free agent. Could be the entire key to making a career early on. Quote
MichHusker Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Feels like a kick in the balls seeing Aaron white taken ahead of Terran Quote
AuroranHusker Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Terran to the Sixers would be phenomenal. Hope it happens yet, whether through the draft or free agency... Quote

The good thing about Petteway is that, drafted or not, it doesn't matter to him. He' just looking to do the best he can through hard work. There are many athletes who get drafted, but end up playing at D-League or lower their entire careers. It's the resilient ones who have the best chance. royalfan and Silverbacked1 2 Quote

That is basically what I meant by saying "early on." Quote
hskr4life Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Darn! Well, that doesn't mean he can't make it. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Free agency is better for those near the cusp of the draft than being tapped by a team that doesn't want/need TP. Hope he sticks with a squad that has PT to offer. Silverbacked1 1 Quote

hskr4life Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Too bad he can't come back now... a nice year in his Senior year may of gotten him there. Like Cliff Alexander. Quote
MichHusker Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Have to think that if there are teams out there that really liked him that towards the end of the draft he probably had already heard from teams interested in him as an UFA Quote
HuskerFever Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 The sad part is, they were probably planning on using that same exact graphic tonight but with a completely different message. Keep on fighting, Petteway! Quote
trickey Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Perhaps Terran and Korver will be future teammates. Quote
